Reimagining 2073.

droneweb.png

In 2073, scientists have been placed in the International Space Station (ISS) with the mission of terraforming Mars. The mars spectra explorer, an advanced drone, equipped with a soil probe and RGB camera diligently analyzes Martian soil samples, providing crucial insights for terraforming efforts. This innovative technology enables real-time monitoring of soil infrastructure, supporting the scientific mission aboard the International Space Station to transform the Martian landscape for future habitation.

How might we design a drone that is as compact as possible while still containing all the essential features required for analysis crucial to terraformation?

I was inspired by the folding mechanisms of a earwig.

A lot of inspiration was taken from NASA's Ingenuity and Perseverence
